Fortis POS Platform allows you to upload and manage inventory quickly. You can view your full catalog, search or filter items, and add stock quantities in just a few clicks. You may also include unit cost and vendor details for better inventory tracking.
Steps to Add Stock
Sign in to the Fortis POS Platform at https://my.fortis.world/auth/login.
Go to Inventory.
Click Add Stock.
Review the list of catalog items. Use Filter or Search by name to find specific items. If an item does not exist, click New Product to create it.
Click Edit info at the top of the list to select the Location and Vendor. This information can be used later for filtering and reporting.
Adjust stock quantities using the + and − buttons in the Added stock column. Optionally enter the Unit cost.
Click Apply to save the stock update. You can also select Save as Draft to complete it later.
Confirm the Location where the stock is stored and click Add Stock.
Your inventory is now updated and ready to be tracked in the system.
When you sell the item from the chosen Location, the stock stored at that Location will be decreased. Note that, in case of a Refund, Fortis POS Platform doesn't automatically add returned item to the stock. You will need to do that manually.
