A POS Terminal is the device used to process sales. After adding and activating a terminal, employees can sign in and start selling goods and services.
Steps to Add a POS Terminal
Sign in to the Fortis POS Platform at https://my.fortis.world/auth/login.
Go to Settings → POS Terminals.
Click Add.
Complete the form. Required fields are marked in red.
Click Activate and copy the 8-digit activation code. This code is required when an employee logs in to the POS terminal for the first time.
You can skip activation and activate the terminal later if needed.
Activate or Deactivate a POS Terminal
To Activate a POS Terminal
Go to Settings → POS Terminals.
Find the required terminal in the list and open its menu.
Click Activate.
Copy the 8-digit activation code. This code is required when an employee logs in to the POS terminal for the first time.
To Edit or Delete a POS Terminal
- Click on the 3 dots beside the Terminal and select Edit or Delete.
