In restaurant environments, bills are often shared between guests. The Fortis F&B App allows payments to be split in multiple ways, including equally, by item, or by a custom amount.
Splitting Equally
- Enter the table number and review the order details.
- Tap Split Pay instead of Pay.
- Enter the number of guests.
- Select the payment method, either Cash or Card.
- For each payment part, tap Pay and follow the instructions on the screen.
- When the payment is accepted, tap Finish.

Splitting by Item
Enter the table number and review the order details.
Tap Split Pay.
Select Split by Item.
Choose the items for each payment and tap Next.
Select the payment method for each portion, tap Pay, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Tap Finish once all payments are accepted.

Splitting by Custom Amount
Enter the table number and review the order details.
Tap Split Pay.
Select Split by Custom Amount.
Enter the amount for the first payment, choose Cash or Card, and tap Pay.
Repeat the process for the remaining amounts. If a card payment exceeds the invoice total, the difference is recorded as a tip.
Tap Finish after completing all payments.

Done! You've split the payment between guests.
